Claus Enevoldsen of Flipboard on the Power of Co-branding, Enthusiast-driven Content and Partnering with Gear Patrol

Claus Enevoldsen is Flipboard’s VP of Global Growth and Business Development and his beard is downright epic. Claus is the consummate marketer. He and his team really get the value of partnerships and when they caught wind that Gear Patrol was launching a new video series, it was only a matter of time before the stars started to align. We had a chance to catch up with Claus and talk about Flipboard, the power of co-branded campaigns, and his love of enthusiast-driven content.

So Claus, tell us a little about yourself…

Well, I’m a soon-to-be American citizen (knock on wood) by way of Denmark. I moved to the United States right after high school. My first job in the US was as a soccer coach, chasing around kids in the baking California sun. Before Flipboard, I led growth at Texture, which has since then become Apple News+. Now, I lead global growth and business development at Flipboard. It’s been quite a journey.
